Follow a bear researcher into the world of wildlife bears!

Experience the bears’ grandeur in the wild together with a researcher and learn all about its fascinating life and behavior.

Languages: Swedish, English, German

Who wouldn’t be fascinated in one way or another when you mention the bear? The feelings for this carnivore differ widely, all from curiosity and love for “the cuddly teddy bear” to inconvenience and fear of the “bloodthirsty beast”.

The bear is endangered in many countries, and how they behave and how dangerous they are differs from country to country. In Sweden we have a viable bear population with est. 3500 wildlife bears. They are considered to be the most peaceful brown bears in the world.

With great care and respect for the interaction between bear and human, we act for future opportunities to continue coexist with the bears and preserve diversity in the deep forests of Sweden.

The bears’ peaceful attitude and an extensive research on the brown bear in Scandinavia during more than 25 years give us unique conditions to explore the bears’ life. This research is executed with great respect and account to the bears different needs.
